About Us

The AIA-MBA Best Practices Guide has evolved over time, adapting to the industry as it has changed. The AIA-MBA Joint Committee is poised to continue investigating, researching and developing recommended and impartial best practices for the benefit of the Western Pennsylvania construction industry.

The harmony in our region's construction industry is assisted from a collaborative approach by the Joint Committee. If you come across an issue that you feel is out of align with the industry's best practices, then we would like to hear from you and together we can work towards improving the working conditions and keeping the industry efficient, which ultimately benefits the Owner providing the greatest value for the construction dollar.
